On the evening of March 31, 2011, the Jackson Lions Club held it's 84th annual Charter Night. With over 100 Jackson Lions and guests present a good time was had by all. Also in attendance was District Governor Steve Granlis.
After a delicious dinner of either prime rib or chicken we were entertained and educated by very special guest Samuel L Clemmons, better know as Mark Twain. He looked pretty good for being 179 years old. He told of his childhood years and of his travels to Nevada and California. |
